Yes, you read that title right! I was in labor with my son for 80 hours.
It might sound crazy to you that I went that long, and sometimes I wonder what I was thinking, but looking back I know it was my intuition guiding me.
I grew more in those 80 hours than I did in years before. Through the process of bringing my son into the world, I evolved – learning how to let go of control and so much more.
Today on the podcast, I’m sharing my entire birth experience for the first time and inviting you into my story and the lessons I learned not about labor, but about life.
I believe that we are given moments and opportunities to shift. Sometimes these come in moments, days, weeks or in my case over 80 hours.
The decisions I made through my labor and my choice to trust in myself and my journey shaped my life over the last 5 years.
I would not be where I am today without this experience.
Tune in to listen to the lessons I learned and how they can support you in your own Beautiful Climb.
May is Mental Health Month and this is just part one of a series on maternal mental health and my own journey.
Tune in next week for an episode on my postpartum journey.
Don’t forget to send me a message on Instagram, I’m hanging out at @michelleknightco, with your takeaways from today’s episode.
Until next time!
