In December of 2019, and into February because I’m a slow reader, I read Atomic Habits by James Clear.
I was not unfamiliar with the idea of habits, but I’d always struggled. I was goal-oriented and had been setting goals for myself since I was seven years old, but I hadn’t yet thought about how important the daily actions were.
Atomic Habits came to me at just the right time, as I had been struggling to find my footing after selling our home and choosing to travel full-time.
But, what I discovered inside the work of James Clear gave me a deeper understanding of the person I wanted to be – yes it’s that good!
Today, on the podcast I’m sharing my biggest takeaways from Atomic Habits and the actions I’ve implemented over the past year.
Creating Daily Habits
Listen in to Episode 14 of the podcast to learn more about…
- The power of small daily actions for greater change, not just this year but forever.
- The type of habits I needed to create in order to see shifts and changes in my life, even though I’ve always been goal-driven.
- Why habits are necessary not just to achieve our goals but to shift our identity.
